Modest Modular Fashion Capstone
This collection is designed with Muslim women at the forefront, embracing the diverse ways they practice modesty. Each piece is intentionally crafted to be multi-purposeful, elegant, and adaptable, ensuring inclusivity across different levels of modesty while maintaining a sense of beauty and luxury. Through this collection, I aim to highlight the power of fashion as a tool for both self-expression and cultural representation—proving that modesty and high fashion are not mutually exclusive, but rather, deeply intertwined.
Intern Challenges
As a design intern, my final challenge was to identify an inclusive space within a different brand under the company umbrella. I took this a step further by exploring both an inclusive and a white space within the brand, recognizing the need for intentional design that speaks to underserved markets. My research and creative direction led me to identify multiple key white space topics—an opportunity to merge accessibility with elevated design, ensuring that all individuals feel seen, empowered, and stylish during life’s most memorable moments to daily activities.
These projects showcases my ability to analyze market gaps, align with brand identity, and propose thoughtful, strategic design solutions.
Mock Calendar Project
As an intern at Kohl’s I was given the opportunity to learn what it takes to be an assistant designer at Kohl’s. The calendar was cut down to a three week where I conducted trend research, had meetings with our cross functional teams, and presented my line final to leadership.
Champion X Mizzou
Review current Champion Vault assortment, design 2-3 new styles for the Men’s, Women’s and Youth category to provide a refresh to offering. New and carryover styles will be decorated with university selected vault graphics.
